This is a delicious blue leather, accented with a smoky charcoal grey on the left side of the latch. The latch is a simple thumb-turn for easy opening and closing, and I even left you a little "wiggle room", if you will, if you decide to make the journal a little bit thicker by mounting ephemera onto the pages. Just be sure that you don't make the journal too thick so that the latch will not close!
