There’s something about Croatia that keeps calling me back.
Maybe it’s the ancient stone streets polished smooth by centuries of footsteps. The little villages tucked into the hills. The café tables spilling into old town squares. The turquoise water of the Adriatic. Or maybe it’s simply the feeling I get when I’m there—the desire to slow down, wander, notice things and make some art because of it.
And this time, I’m bringing five women with me. 🇭🇷
🎉 My very first annual Destination Art Retreat to Croatia is officially SOLD OUT, and in just a few days, our adventure begins.
For two weeks, the six of us—me + just five clients—will be road-tripping through Croatia together.
🗺️ We’ll begin in Zagreb and make our way through Rijeka, Hum, Pula, Zadar, Nin, Split, Hvar Island, Dubrovnik and Vrlika before eventually making our way back to Zagreb.
That’s a LOT of Croatia. 😂
There will be art.
There will be journals.
There will be history, food, ridiculously beautiful scenery, little towns, big cities, the Adriatic Sea, spontaneous detours and undoubtedly a few stories none of us could possibly predict yet.
🎯 And that last part is kind of the whole point.
I’m keeping these retreats intentionally tiny—only five clients at a time—because I don’t want to lead a tour group.
I want us all in one vehicle.
I want to be able to make a turn down an interesting road.
Stay longer when we fall in love with a place.
Stop when somebody sees something that makes us say, “WAIT! We have to go look at that!”
I want this to feel less like touring Croatia and more like living inside it for a little while.
📆 And yes...there will be another Croatia Destination Art Retreat in 2027. 👀
There’s plenty more to come about the 2027 Retreat...but first, let’s see where this inaugural adventure takes us.
